Singer/songwriter Ben Jelen (Maverick) has announced that he'llhit the road with Hanson in July. The dates put Ben back on the billwith the newly independent trio -- whom he previously paired up withduring select dates on the brothers' acoustic tour in March andApril. Jelen's debut album, GIVE IT ALL AWAY, was released on April13 and entered Billboard's Top Heatseekers Chart at no. 1 with first-week sales of nearly 10,000. Jelen will tour through the summer,joining Clay Aiken in August and touring through the fall with RockThe Vote's 2004 Bus Tour.
Ben Jelen's (pronounced Yellin) first single, COME ON, debutedwhen AOL MUSIC named him a Breaker Artist in December. An internetphenomenon began that has accounted for more than 1 million streamsof Jelen's music on AOL to date and iTunes sales of over 5,000digital singles of "Come On" before the album even hit stores.

Jelen is a UK-born, US-raised self-taught musician who playspiano, violin, and guitar. He graduated from Rutgers University witha biology degree before moving to New York City. There he worked as aproducer and engineer in local recording studio where, after-hours,Jelen recorded the demo that gained the attention of Maverick chief,Guy Oseary.
