(ADPnews) - May 28, 2010 - Swedish outdoor products company Husqvarna AB (STO:HUSQ B) said Thursday it will close a plant in Beatrice, in the US state of Nebraska, and will transfer the production to Orangeburg, South Carolina, in the second half of 2010.
The move is part of the company's previously announced plan to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
The measures are expected to cost some SEK 110 million (USD 14m/EUR 11.3m), including cash items of SEK 70 million, to be booked in the second quarter of 2010.
